Meeting Japans Finest Fly Fisher

While traveling & fly fishing in June 2014, I had the pleasure of meeting Tomonori Higashi on the Upper Columbia River in Washington State. He is the field editor & owner of Japans’ Fly Fisher Magazine. Tomonori was spending time with one of our clients,  The Evening Hatch Guide Service, fishing for wild rainbow & cutthroat trout. He was touring the Northwest & headed to the Big Hole river in Montana on his next stop. “Tomo” is a certified FFF ( Federation Of Fly Fishers) casting instructor & travels the world fishing exotic destinations, writing & photographing for his magazine. The Federation of Fly Fishers is a 43-year old international non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of the sport of fly fishing through conservation, restoration and education.
